Spring Prescribed Fire Program for the Boise National Forest Completed
With the exception of some slash pile burning, the spring Prescribed Fire Program for the Boise National Forest has been completed. Check back with us in September for the start of the fall program.

Weather and conditions permitting, the Idaho City Ranger District plans to ignite 200-300 acres in Alder Ridge with hand ignition, 1 mile north of Placerville. Also, the Cascade Ranger District may ignite hand piles near French Creek Campground, late in the week, depending on weather.
