Slash Pile Burns – Idaho City Ranger District

10-24-2017 UPDATE – During the next few weeks weather and conditions permitting, Idaho City Ranger District fuel managers plan to ignite slash piles within an area of approximately 300 acres.

The piles are located 4.5 miles east of Idaho City, in several units along National Forest System roads (NFSR) including; Granite Creek Road (NFSR-327 Road), Boulder Creek Road (NFSR-329 Road) and Bannock Creek Road (NFSR- 305 Road).
