Mountain Home Ranger District RxFire Update
The Mountain Home Ranger District is planning on burning May 15th in the Trinity Creek watershed, approximately five miles west of Featherville. The project consists of approximately 100 acres of hand ignition. The unit name is Whiskey Campo 13/14 and is a BD burn designed for Aspen regeneration. Burn Boss will be Robert Burnside, trainee is Joel Welsh. District fire personnel will conduct the burn, Engine 431 will be contingency. Briefing will be at the Snowmobile Parking area at the bottom of the Wagontown loop,1 mile west of Featherville at 1000. Please call or email if you have any questions. 208-587-7850.
