Lowman Ranger District plans burn in Rock Creek Area

Weather and conditions permitting, the Lowman Ranger District of the Boise National Forest plans to hand ignite this Thursday, May 12 and Friday, May 13 in the Rock Creek burn area.
Fire managers plan to burn approximately 75-85 acres each day. The burn area is approximately 2 miles south of Lowman, Idaho, near State Highway 21.

Smoke may be visible in the evening and early morning in Garden Valley and Crouch.
